"From the smallest flower, from the butterfly's wing, from the sparkling crystal, moving further and higher through beautiful human forms, through the mysterious touch of the Heaven, the man wants to establish himself on the unshakably beautiful. If there exist some wonderful creations of human hands on the earth, the traveler will come to them, to rest under their vaults in the shining of frescoes and stained glass. If the traveler is fascinated by mirages of distant horizons, he will rush to them. And if he knows that somewhere the highest peaks sparkle, he will be attracted by them, and out of this only desire, he will become stronger, cleaner and inspired to make feats for the sake of good, beauty and ascent."
