The remains of Fort Bharagar are located below the Roerich estate in Nagar, near the Beas River. The history of its creation goes back to old times. Thus, it is known that around the 15th century, it was owned by Rana Bhosal; then, he was conquered, according to one version, by a descendant of the first princes of Kuluta – Behangamani and Sidh Pal. The monastery offers a majestic view of the white snow of Devita, or Indrakila (Deo-Tibba). Apparently, the landscape was painted in the cold season, when the slopes of the Devita are powdered with snow. Clouds, floating just above the center of the picture, create a special sense of elevation of this place.
