“Our camp is among bizarre volcanic rocks. At the very foot of Timur-Khada, which means the Iron Rock. Another great name in the Mongolian history that has not been forgotten. As well as Genghis Khan, a great conqueror and organizer, and Iron Timur, and Naran Obo shining on the mountain top. At the foot of the same mountain, not far from our camp, is the place of the future Mongolian capital. The place was elected and foreseen by Panchen Rinpoche himself, the Tashi-Lama of Tibet, who is now in Kumbum. It is quite understandable that a new place has been selected for the new Mongolian capital. After all, Batuhalka, with its ancient lived-in monastery, would not be a new construction. And the new independent government, of course, reasonably wants to find themselves in a new environment. Currently, the government is accommodated in Batuhalka, in yurtas. But, of course, such a residence can only be temporary”.
