“The Drunk Death” is a sketch for a popular picture aimed against drunkenness. The artist depicted an allegory of feasting: in the center of the picture there is a table decorated with wine and food, with five feasting men in oriental garments around it. Next to those feasting, we can see dark-blue figures of devils, seducing the people gathered at the table. The action takes place on a stage, as shown by the image of a curtain draping the top of the picture.
